Topic: New member in Virginia

Hi Everyone,
I went to see Joe at the Birchmere in Virginia about a week ago and I am officially hooked. I am a guitar player/singer in a local 3 piece bluesy rock band. After seeing Joe and the guys play live I have a new found inspiration. I am a hopeless gear-head who has been reading your posts for a while and decided its time to join the party.

we're in the studio finishing a 5 song EP and we hope to start giging again pretty soon.

Welcome V-man. Did we meet?? I was there Sunday. It wonderful to hear how Joe inspired your playing. I can only imagine. This place will feed your gear addiction. You are amidst friends. Have fun!!    Cathy

Hi Cathy,
We might have met Sunday night. I met a lot of cool people at that show. I was ready to go to the Monday night show too, but I just couldn't swing it. I brought my band and a couple other buddies. None of us had seen Joe before and we were all just floored! We're already planning our trip up to Ramshead in Annapolis.

Those Birchmere shows rocked, and got me active on the forum as well (pulling set lists).
What a great venue.  a bit far, but worth it - twice!  I'll be back.
Ramshead is walking distance -Hope I'll see you there.

I took my wife (multiply bonofide) and my 18 year old daughter (bonavirgin) on sunday. 
Today she informed me she was ripping my JB CD's to her laptop.  Shes's gotta have tunes at college next year.

Yes as mentioned before here are many gearnuts and musicians (as me)
and its always fun to discuss the probably second-most important theme
in the word...:D
