Another great show, just when you think you have seen Joe at his best,
he kicks it up another knotch! His teases of classic rock and blues songs
throughout his set seemed to be more numerous than in the past. He threw
in bits and pieces of many songs and included a cover of ZZ Top's
"Just Got Paid" with a Led Zep piece at the end. If anyone knows what song that
was, please let me know. Joe got the audience involved on several
occasions, Spoonful & Burning Hell. He seemed to interact with the audience
more compared with previous shows I have attended. Maybe it was due to
the show being so close to his home town. What ever the reason, it was great.
and it was a great setlist!
Here is the setlist(and album) as I heard it:
Takin' the Hit - So, It's Like That
Walk in My Shadows - ANDY
So Many Roads - You & Me
Mountain Time - So, It's Like That
Bridge to Better Days - You & Me
A New Day Yesterday / Spoonful tease - ANDY / Cream(Fresh Cream)
Acoustic and Alone:
Miss You, Hate You - ANDY
Woke Up Dreaming - Blues Deluxe
The River - Had To Cry Today
Burning Hell - Blues Deluxe
Encore:
Asking Around For You - You & Me
Just Got Paid / Led Zep tune?? - ZZ Top(Rio Grande Mud) / ???
Thanks Joe, Mark and Bogie for the great show.
The only other person I know with as much kindness, patience
and availability to the fans is the great B.B. King.
Thanks Joe, you'll always see my face in the audience
when you come back home!
