Topic: Fuel

Well UK is a grim place, Shell drivers are striking due to pay.. the media has gone and hyped it up now everyones panick buying fuel.. been to two stations this morn to get enough diesel for work but alas I cant due to everyone panick buying it all... Just thought I'd share this as its annoyed me and Im presuming other UK goers are having similar probs....

Then again a couple of days off work wont hurt smile

Re: Fuel

It's funny (in a disturbingly irritating way) how the media says "don't panic buy", and that is immediately taken as "oh crap, we're gonna run out of petrol". As far as i'm aware Shell only accounts for 1/10 of the UK pumps....I don't know who to be more annoyed with, the media for blowing things out of proportion YET AGAIN, or the numpties emptying the pumps for no reason, bunch of bloody lemmings!! Does ASDA spell SHELL???? NO IT DOESN'T, so get away from the pump you a@%e!!

Sorry, couldn't help it, bit of a lunchtime rant....am okay now.....:)

Re: Fuel

lol quite right, the UK blames the government for alot of stuff taxes etc.. I blame the majority of public imbeciles all this panick buying will only serve to drive prices up due to demand etc... sigh

Re: Fuel

Mixed up world, lots of things sounding so grim and I always have a good laugh when it comes to any political office and the blame game...DO THEY THINK WE'RE STUPID ...my advice, head here for now and crank up some good tunes.... big_smile

Re: Fuel

Paul, drivers from other companies are refusing to cross picket lines. The knock-on effect may hit every petrol station.
