I find it amazing that SRV's Real Deal is still on the board!

Re: Billboard Blues Chart, week of June 14, 2008

Yea 10 Days Out has been on there awhile also. One thing with the Blues chart is how much is sales for number 1 on any particular week you know? Of course it's an accomplishment but the airwaves and sales are dominated by alot of CRAP!!!

"Is it the new blues mobile or what?"                                                                                                                                                                                                     "Fix the cigarette lighter."

"the airwave and sales are dominated by a lot of crap"

Isn't that the truth.  Out here in SoCal, you've got either classic rock (which gets stale after a while), bubblegum pop music, the hip hop/ rap stuff and a boatload of spanish stations.  I am longing for something different without having to pay for satellite radio.  I guess that's why Ipods were invented because I keep mine close by so I can listen to a mix I enjoy.
