Re: Dropin by to say hi.

A warm welcome to Joe's Forum gypsybiker!  Glad you could join us!  Glad you found Joe's music and that you've been collecting deliriously!  My husband did the same thing immediately upon hearing him for the first time!

If you want the whole shebang - you must get

Had to Cry Today - CD
A New Day Yesterday Live - CD  (different from the ANDY CD that you have)

You should also consider Joe's two concert DVDs, which are

Rockpalast
A New Day Yesterday Live

Now, just you wait until you get an opportunity to hear AND SEE Joe perform live.  I'm telling you, right now, you will NEVER be the same.  Enjoy your time here.  We are a fun and lively bunch!

I know that Joe could play one of those kid's guitars with the plastic strings and make it sound good-

Re: Dropin by to say hi.

Welcome from me too and Libby is right.

You need all the CD's and DVD's, all very good. Some more rock, some more blues, some more acoustic but all GREAT!

Enjoy this forum and keep posting please!

Re: Dropin by to say hi.

Welcome, gypsybiker. I wholeheartedly endorse Libby's recommendations and also suggest you check out the vids on youtube - there are plenty of them. Seek out those by Michael Lynch, our resident Martin Scoursese, although little Eva's catching him up fast. wink There are plenty of links on the forum postings to the best ones.

If you want to hear Joe playing with another master of the guitar, you could also check out Walter Trout's album Full Circle on which he plays a duet with Joe. It's Electric Blues at its best.

Stick around.

Re: Dropin by to say hi.

Hi Gypsybiker. Welcome to the forum. Glad you have discovered Joe's music. I bet you thought 'Why have I never heard of this genius before?'. I know I did.
As well as everything already mentioned there's Bloodline, which was Joe's first band. The album is called Bloodline. He doesn't sing but he plays brilliantly and only 17 years of age!

Have fun..........Tripsy:)

Re: Dropin by to say hi.

That's what I like to see, Gypsy Biker..Jump in full speed ahead. We are more than glad to enable your addiction. Because Joe is taper friendly, there's lots of him out there in Cyberworld. You will buy everything, that's just how it is ...might as well kick back and enjoy the ride! Nice to meet you, Cathy
