Topic: elixir makes guitar cables now

I wonder how much these cost...

www.elixircables.com

theres a little video you can click on where they say why they are better than other cables and compare them to a capacitor...

Let me know if anyone's tried these. Tom Anderson of Tom Anderson Guitars is endorsing them...

Re: elixir makes guitar cables now

At $50-$60 they'd better sound good. The question is "do they sound better than a $25 cable.

My guess would be "no" just based on experience. You never find a true A/B comparison test of high end cables....it's usually just endorsements and paid-for-hype.

I seriously doubt these cables have any sonic advantage over Mogami or Canare cable and you can get those hand soldered at places like   lavacable.com  for half the price of these puppies.  Anyway...here's a link if money is no object and someone wants to try these

what ever happened George L's?
those really thin cables with the ends you screw in? Those were supposed to be good.

exactly.....I think the word "screw" has some irony here!
