Topic: Oslo gig

Just got home from Oslo, and I have to say, probably the best concert I have ever seen.Absolutely fantastic.Joe's playing and singing so focused and brilliant. My girlfriend and I stood tight in front of Joe for the whole show, and that is just awesome,to watch his playin and feel the power from his amps, undescribeable.
I believe the setlist dont differ much from the rest of the tour.I brought along with me 10 friends, and it was the first time seeing Joe for everyone, and they all agree with what I have written.
Thanks Joe,hope to see you in Norway soon.

Excellent Claus, glad to hear.  How long was the show, what was the venue like, the crowd, the setlist?  Inquiring minds want to know!!!

Re: Oslo gig

I think he played a little over 2 hours, the place takes around 400 people and it was quite packed. The setlist is :                                                                                                      Bridge to Better Days
Walk in My Shadow
So Many Roads
Mountain Time
Another Kind of Love
Sloe Gin
Highwater Everywhere
Don't Burn that Bridge
Woke Up Dreaming
Django
Just Got Paid
One of These Days
Asking Around for You
Ballpeen Hammer
New Day Yesterday
Startship Trooper .. Wurm
The crowd was very responsive, though some of them just cannot shut up,talking and shouting during the concert,hmmmrrf#¤%&//&?)((/&!!
Nice to see him in such a intimate setting.

Re: Oslo gig

Hi Claus, what a great setlist, something for everybody and for over two hours!  I know what you mean about people trying to talk over the music, in smaller venues that can be a problem.   Thanks for posting...

Re: Oslo gig

Nice to hear he's doing Starship Trooper again. I love that one. big_smile

I'm just saying.

Re: Oslo gig

He didn't start with 'Bridge'?

No 'Bridge' at all?

*shock, horror)
