Topic: Tommy Talton Band

Who knows who he is?

Went to see him last night at my local bucket of blood.  First we had to sit through one ol country boy pick & grin.  Not bad, but not what I paid for.

Then we listened to the "house band" create cacophony behind poor ol Mark Hodson.  Blasphemers couldn't find the one and the drummer was spinning out of orbit. 

Then the tight and right southern boys came on & pronounced all pretenders DOA.  That was SWEEEET, smooth and sassy. 

Tommy walked upstairs, looked at me and stopped dead in his tracks.  Been a long time.  Survivors!

Tommy was part of one of the greatest Bands of All Time
"Cowboy" along with Scott Boyer.  Friends of the Allmans and also on Capricorn Records. They made some great records.
The orignal versions of "Please Be With Me" and  "All My Friends"  were done by Cowboy.

Yep Tommy told me that he and Scott Boyer were gonna do it again and David Hood would be involved.  He winked at me and said you remember David don'tcha.
