Topic: Young Guns

First of all thanks to all who give the heads up about artists to check out. I love Aynsley Lister, Ryan McGarvey, Jason Leroy and Scarlet Runner, Davy Knowles of Back Door Slam. I'm catching on to a common tone that I seek. I hear riffs and smile about the hints of Joe. Am I missing any?    Cathy

Heard of ESB before. Great band! Also, Randy is a phenomenal guitarist. He needs to hire a singer though so he can concentrate on just playing the guitar like he used to. That is his strong suit.

Technique doesn't come into it. I deal with emotions.

This next crop of slingers is top notch. I got BDS dvd on right now. Davey is just crushing the leads in Pink Floyds money. Absolutely brilliant playing.   You did miss one of my new favorites, TONY SPINNER.    http://www.grooveyardrecords.com/liveineurope.html

This kid's pretty good also.  Wes Jeans.   http://www.grooveyardrecords.com/wesjeans.html

Re: Young Guns

I think it's Eric Steckel.

Re: Young Guns

He's not totally focused on the whole axe hero type thing, but this is an album I'd certainly recommend, and he is young. Alex Maryol's 'Make Everything Alright'

" Eric Tessmer "   Just got some Eric Tessmer the other day .   KILLER sound.  Didn't realize
Tony Spinner was in his 40's.  Old guy sure can play.  Also got Eric Gerardi.  Awesome player from Cleveland area.
