Topic: Green Bay 7/16

I had a small gig in greenbay, and wowed the audience with my version of Blues Deluxe.  A couple Bonamassa fans in the crowd - was definitely an all around crowd pleaser. Was the first time I ever played it in public.  Did every from quieting down to the SUUUUUUUUURRRRRRRREE  ending, it felt pretty damn good.

The gig was at a bar on University Ave called IQ's - they do mostly jam band, some rock, and some blues acts.  They do open Jam every wednesday night too! I designed their website, still in primitive form...

I've played it 3 times now, and people LOVE it...it's got the tradtional I IV V progression, but Rod's lyrics along with JB's re-arrangement make it stand out...

...I do have sound clips...

I recorded a Fri nite show and the Sat nite show. We were auditioning a keyboard player Sat nite so I wanted to be able to compare the two nites other than from memory...

The fri nite version was just under 5mins...the sat version is 9-1/2!!!

I'll edit one down to 30 secs or so and host it tonite...
