Topic: Anyone?

I am running the Bogner Shiva 6l6, I don't know if any of you tried that amp but, to me has a great Marshall-like Joe tone. I have not heard and amp that comes closer without going wicked boutique.

Does anyone have a recommendation for speakers? Is there one speaker you would recommend for a 1x12 60 watts?

Also why we are talking tone. The Xotic effects BB-preamp is frikken' amazing. If you havn't played one please do. They have a great Joe like tone.

Hi Guys,
Here is a few ideas.  I know Joe uses the EVM12Ls and I have used them in cleaner amps and they sounded fantastic.  I have never tried them in dirty Marshall style amps (though Joe gets a stellar sound with his).  Celestion has some good ones, I actually like the G12T-75 as a decent speaker that you can find for a great price, just check ebay.  I really want to try the Celestion Heritage G12-65 as the reviews I have read on it are excellent.  Eminence Red Coat and Patriot lines also have a ton of cool speakers.  I have tried the Governor and a couple from their Legend line and they all do an above average job.  The thing with speakers is that one persons tonal nirvana is anothers total crap...Very subjective.  Anyhow check the manufacturers websites as they usually have descriptions and sound bites to kind of steer you in a right direction.  Try a few speakers out (luckily most speakers aren't that expensive) and note what you like about them.  Anyway best of luck.
