Topic: Oscar Peterson's Death

Hey guys,
Just thought I'd make a post about Oscar.  For those who don't know who he is, he was possibly the greatest jazz pianist to ever live, just a smokin jazz cat.  The music world has lost an incredibly influential and amazing musician.  If no ones listened to him,  definitely check him out.
Peace
Conner

I once heard Oscar described as the Maharishi of jazz piano.  I think that title serves him right.

RIP Oscar.  Your flying fingers will be missed.

Well, the night I was born

I posted this on the Clapton site too but I think it's worth mentioning here as well. We have a signed photo at work from Dr Peterson who came to our store twice during the period when we sold keyboards. He was on tour in the UK and we happened to have what he was looking for.....but he didn't send an aide to shop for him, he visited in person. He was a gentleman as well as a fine musician.

never give up, never slow down
never grow old, never ever die young
