Yes about 5 years ago we saw her open for Jonny Lang in Vegas.  I can't remember
much about it though.  Let us know how the show was!

Re: Sue Foley Friday, November 2 Youngtown, OH

Hi Dean,
Some random thoughts on Sue. I've seen her twice. The first was last year at the Bayfront Blues Festival where she played a solo acoustic set. The second time was this year when she was part of the Blues Guitar Women tour with Deborah Coleman and Roxanne Potvin. They were part of the bill at the Last Ride Blues Fest that Joe headlined in late August up in Thief River Falls, MN. She played a few songs with just her and the backing band and a few with Deborah and Roxanne. I think she's really good. She's an excellent guitar player both on the acoustic and electric. I'd put her at the top of my list for female guitarists that I've seen. She does have a very different voice. Not a classic blues singer like Bonnie Raitt or Susan Tedeschi I'd call her style contemporary blues, but she does a great job on the acoustic with more traditional blues. She can also rock out just a little bit. Really good sense of humor, too. I'd love to see a full show with her and her band!

Hope that helps!

PS Her main electric was a pink paisley telecaster that was pretty cool!
