Topic: Craigslist

OK I'm sure most are hip to Craigslist. Free online classified, can't beat it.   Well not sure if this ad is real or a joke. But I just had to share with you guys and see your response.
It's barter deal, check it out.    http://pittsburgh.craigslist.org/bar/454652303.html

Don't know what to make of it. All I can think of is the pic of Roy's snoblower.

Take care everyone. And if I don't meet you no more in this world
Then ill, I'll meet you in the next one and don't be late, don't be late

Re: Craigslist

Well having seen what he's trying to barter, I got a pretty good idea what the "snowblower" is for...lol

Oh Geez, Jeff!  Too funny!

But seriously....I wonder how you would clean out a USED "cleansing kit?"  That just seems unsafe and unsanitary and just.....ewwwww!

Re: Craigslist

This has to be Roy's idea of a joke!  No one would honestly try to sell this.

Re: Craigslist

Ya know, there's alot of jokers on there but even up here, I look at C.L. everyday; sporting goods & music instruments.    We live kinda rural along the Yukon but I have a guitar buddy in Anchorage check out good deals I see on C.L.  Trouble is now his wife and him are buying and selling all the time on there too, ha.  He got a late 60's gibson on there for like 1000 bucks; pretty nice too.  I'll call my buddy to check this or that geetar out and he'll end up buying them for himself, ha; which is cool cause he's one of these guys that changes guitars every couple months; that means I end up getting what I want in the end anyway.

I've seen amer strats for 400, leslie speakers 300, G&L's, blk face fenders, ect.  Never seen a Lentz on there yet though??????????

We had some prop back in MatSu (75 miles north of Anch) that I've been paying taxes on for last 10 years.  With kids ready to start UAF; got to thinking about dumping the prop.  So I spent like 100 bucks listing in Anch paper, had 3-4 calls.   2 weeks later I put her on C.L. ( for free) and got over 40 calls; sold it quick. No realtors and all the other costs.

Thing to remember is only list local phone number and not email.  Email draws all those foreign scammers.  I sure hope C.L. remains free fora couple years, what'a deal.
