Topic: Clapton on Larry King tonight

He'll be on 9 EST, 8 Central. He'll be on because of his new autobiography. I'm reading it now, it's really good. He's very upfront and honest about a lot of things. Not only one of my favorite artists, but probably one of my favorite people ever. Just very frank about everything.

Re: Clapton on Larry King tonight

Hey Deezer,
Didn't see this post earlier, but saw the show.  Overall good...thought Larry could have extracted some differnet news from Clapton, especially are you interested in playing with anyone else...could have worded it who else...I heard the questions were approved and it wasn't live.  I thought Clapton looked really well rested and just so darn happy in his current situation...having a happy home life bustling with little girls really agrees with him. smile  So, Clapton is a huge fan of Columbus, Ohio, owning one of his 4 homes there ... he claims it reminds him of England's countryside.  (I know Melia's family is from Ohio and it was used as a base during the tour...kids even went to school there.)  Lots of rockers seem to love Ohio!!!  smile

I'm also reading the book.  Didn't realize Eric did not give up cigarettes until he was 48 years old and another fan of the Lovin' Spoonful-Summer in the City...yep, I still have my 45!!  lol  My mom's youngest brother is only 10 years older than me...he had a Ford Mustang convertible and a lifeguard job at the beach the summer this song hit big...it was always on the radio!!!  Did I mention, he also had a gazillion girlfriends...
