Topic: Just got sloe gin

I just recieved my copy of sloe gin.
I really think it's a good album and especially like another kind of love and sloe gin. Although it's far from my fav joe album i like it. It's good songs to listen to, but I think most songs are average, still think nothing beats new day yesterday. Where are the solos? !!! The solos! In my eyes, guitar matters to 80% and 20% song.
Hope next album has more solos and less singing. smile

I read that one. However, I think it was too little guitar. Joe is really not a singer/songwriter but a *Guitarist*singer. You&Me Was better because it was both sing and solo, but new day yesterday was the best. I didnt really think the songs were anything special except sloe gin which was amazing, another kind of love (why can the solo hardly be heard due to over-done echo) black night, seagull and richmond.
I really think he kinda ignored what made him the best in his album. I hope next album will be focused more on his guitar. I do think his songs need good singing and lyrics, but withouth solo it just isnt that awesome
