Topic: Joe's Lighter Side

I told Shred about a compilation I made to play at a wine bar here in town when the place isn't so crowded. The girls like to keep it relatively sophisticated at times and won't play just anything Joe, not that they won't when it's really roaring. So here's what I came up with, feel free to comment in any way shape or form. Actually I haven't given them their copy yet, it's in the boom box at my radiologists office where I receive my radiation treatment for about 5 min. each morning and my techs already threatened not to give it back. The first day I went into the waiting room and noticed a sign that read: The music in the treatment area is for your listening enjoyment however you may bring any CD or cassette (what the hell are those?) for your own enjoyment. LOOKOUT CREW!!! you've unleashed DJ Dawg. The List:

Seagull
Colour & Shape
Asking Around For You
Faux Mantini
Tamp "Em Up Slowly
Jelly Roll
India............not on the bottom of the list,DEAL WITH IT!
When She Dances
Palm Trees, Helicopters, & Gasoline
Waiting For Me
Woke Up Dreamin'
Around The Bend
I Don't Live Anywhere
Mumbling Word
Richmond....................strong finish

Can't wait to get there this morning and see how they liked the whole thing.

Wow those are lucky x-ray techs!  No one ever played music like that when I was working.

Re: Joe's Lighter Side

Nice line up my Brit Brotha'. I worked off what I have at hand and prefer it strictly to the studio versions. However all comments on this idea are more than welcome, it's what it's about.

Re: Joe's Lighter Side

i dont think these songs are light - I think they hold a lot of weight!
