Re: Dino seeks Joe B suggestions

I have that same doubt.  But, I tend to think that number is actually "possible listeners" but they just leave off possible.

The station covers the whole upper half of WI, the UP, down to Stevens Point, plus the internet.

Either way, thanks a lot.

I tried to shout out to everyone.

Not just your listening audience at that station, Dino, let alone for the Friday Blues Show, ALL radio station markets...Anyone who can grab 50,000 peoples attention on radio these days, even in a major city urban area, is doing much, much, more than excellent...Same with capturing internet "crowds"...Hopefully your shout out for "Who's drunk"!? wasn't answered "Me"! buy someone in a driver's seat on a highway out there!

Re: Dino seeks Joe B suggestions

As far as the monthly thing...what we could do...is a monthly or bi weekly bonamassa podcast?  I am just thinking outloud on a sunday morning, so bear with me.  I make media for a living, and currently produce a bunch of podcasts, and one more would not kill me.

We could get together somehow and talk about the content, and what it could be...a few people could create small chunks of audio, we could get it to me, with my studio I could put it together.  Someone with a website, and a hosting deal could host it, we could submit it to apple, make it downloadable off of a website somewhere...and kapow.

Joe could even do an official one.

There are examples of guys doing them, and they are easy to do.  I think Joe is rocking an ipod, or rather I would hope he is...he could get a belkin italk for 50 bucks, it records stereo direct to the ipod.  He can put that one his laptop, and change it to mp3, and a little polish, and we could send it to the world.

Or you could get me a job doing radio somewhere.

Either way, I am going to have buckwheat pancakes today.  There is a great vegan restaraunt near me, and they have good comfort foods on sunday.  Amazing vegan meat loaf...so good.

I need a cup of coffee, and maybe a hug from my mom.  You never know with sundays.
