Re: Dino seeks Joe B suggestions

Dear Everyone,

Thank you so much for listening.  THis was more fun for me than most shows are.  I am so thrilled it was Pattys birthday.

I heard that Joe was snooping, maybe he tuned in.

Either way, thanks so much

Were going out with one of my Joe favorites.

Then I gotta end with my friend.

But, I hope you all enjoyed it.

Re: Dino seeks Joe B suggestions

Thanks so much Dino. It's been a pleasure on this end too!

Nothing but love....Cathy

Re: Dino seeks Joe B suggestions

Nice Job Dino, I can't believe we didn't here from Capt. Roy. He's probably nodded off in the corner in a round room. Boy is he gonna be pissed when he finds out what he missed. Looks like rations and leave will suffer again.

Re: Dino seeks Joe B suggestions

Dino,

Any way we could talk you into a monthly Joe program? We could throw a little Walter Trout in there with the song Joe played on. It was a fantastic evening! Thanks for the show! smile smile

My suggestion would be "Pack It Up" from "Blues Deluxe"......

My question would be "Why do you care what anyone thinks of you on this forum?"

Thanks for giving Joe some airplay!

Re: Dino seeks Joe B suggestions

Dear Everyone,

I just got up.  Put on D'ANgelo, and am starting my day.

I wanted to say thank you.  It was more fun than ever to do that show knowing that specific people were listening.  Even if it was a long funny backstory to explain to some listeners from here.

Either way, I wanted to do that for you all, because you have been so patient with me.  I may not be a fan like you all, but I respect your fan ship.  I know I annoy some of you, so I thought I would try to make it up to you on a big stage.

The radio show has a listenership in Wisconsin of about 50,000 for blues friday.  So I think I said Joe's name over and over again.  Had a ton of calls to find out who that was...so I lied and told them Dinosaur Jr....nah just kidding.

I got to talk to a few of you on the phone.  That was super cool, and Patty is just an awesome birthday person.  That made it even better.

As far as the once a month thing, I simply fill in from time to time.  The station is a long distance from my home, and I have a full plate with the CHAMP Act at home now.

So thank you.  Thanks so much.  I hope I made you laugh a little bit.

Re: Dino seeks Joe B suggestions

Although I find it hard to believe 50,000 people listen to ANY public / commercial FCC regulated radio show these days (if not in syndication at least), I absolutely love the fact that someone may be driving around (maybe rented a car at the airport) and tweaking the radio dial with total unfamiliarity with the area's airwaves, and could hear Joe Bonamassa, Scott Holt playing something off From Lettsworth To Legend: A Tribute To Buddy Guy, a non-skinnerd's version of Free Bird, and some good old long, long time dead man blues...oh yeah for free too is bonus time baby!
