Topic: How do you store your CD's/DVD's?

I'm not one of those very organized people and I've always functioned well in chaos. Now I am finding it annoying to keep CD's in their jewel boxes, but I want all the info that's included. I'm using "books", but don't have a system like I did with records which were alphabetized. Too many books with that system..so, any suggestions?

Re: How do you store your CD's/DVD's?

I really don't have a suggestion for you but my system works for me. I sectioned off an area in my basement and claimed it from the wife. I built a shelving unit into the wall with under counter lighting and have my cds stacked in rows of 20 or so. There has to be about 500 cds stacked in cases.  The cdrs that I've collected in trades are in the sleeves and in boxes of 200.
I usually rip the songs I want into my 30 gig mp3 player then file the disc away. It's so great being able to take hundreds of albums in the car in the palm of my hand.

Off topic but what the hey.  I have been thinking of selling my store bought cds for like 3 bucks a disc. Burn myself a copy and sell the real one.  I could use the cash and it would clear up a bunch of space. Would I be out of line if I posted a link to a list of discs? And would anyone be interested?

Take care everyone. And if I don't meet you no more in this world
Then ill, I'll meet you in the next one and don't be late, don't be late
