Re: The New Sgt. Pepper's

I HEARD THE NEWS TODAY OH BOY...about the visionary major's comment comparing Bonamassa's Sloe Gin and the Beatles Sgt. Pepper!!!

John's goal with this concept album was to have the album tour without the band touring and to introduce new sounds that would never be duplicated in a live performance.  It was not originally intended to be a "concept album" according to George Martin.  The Beatles were at a very pivotal crossroads when Sgt. Pepper came along.  Instantly good kharma at the mere suggestion major.  smile  Joe is getting better all the time...:) smile smile smile  One smiley for each Beatle!!!
