My opinion, I like both, but I'd rather hear each separately do a full set of their own songs.
I think they would write some superb rock songs together though. For my Friends is my fave that they have done together.

I always thought they are missing out on playing and or writing some powerful blues rock music. I think the  material they have  done gives  Joe a chance to do some soul which I understand. Just seems like a waste not to pull out all the raw  rock power they can channel together.
