Re: PPV

I am one of the lucky ones also, my stream was flawless as was the sound and dynamic pictures.  Impressed with the live mix as it was spot on.  I went the simple route of laptop sourced to the TV with an HDMI connection.  Would do the same again.

JB's newer songs have a tendency to be more complex and take multiple listens to get use to, but the back beat for most of them was fabulous and there was a lot to love in the songs and the performance. He should definitely go with a second guitarist, as it really fills out the music, even more so than just the keyboards. JB's vocals have gotten stronger, clearer and more forceful every year, and tonight's were simply awesome.

So being the greedy SOB that I am....could we schedule the next performance on line so we have something to look forward to please!

Worth every penny....

Re: PPV

Hi all!

Apart from a few skippy moments here and there, my stream went perfectly. I screen-shared my laptop to the TV (the laptop is a high-ish end model from 2018).

I already like the new stuff more than 'Redemption', especially 'Beyond the silence'. Would have liked some more from the remastered album, but still had a great time. Would do it again in a heartbeat.

The silence and the cardboard cutouts were sure creepy AF yikes but what are you gonna do, it was expected. Strange year... just the first of many. Joe hasn't lost his sense of humor which was good to see wink

Re: PPV

I was crazy with worry about the technology working for me, but my simple HDMI cable hookup between TV and laptop worked perfectly.  No crashes, no buffering, no video problems at all.  Thanking my lucky stars.

I thought the production was terrific - much more robust than expected.  Severely awkward without audience feedback, yes, but what you gonna do?  We're so lucky to get this from Joe, especially in the midst of all his other projects.

I rarely like any new music, have to give it several listens before it takes hold, so jury still out on that.  I invited 2 neighbors who also love Joe, enjoyed having fellow fans, however, couldn't give the show 1,000% attention with the occasional chit chat.  Will have to watch again solo with no pesky interruptions! But not sure how to replay...can someone educate me on that?

After that, may invite another couple to watch in a few days.

P.S.  I LOVE him in the boots...keep them permanently!

Thank you Joe!

Re: PPV

This morning, I was able to logon and watch the replay. Very disappointed since we had a fan potluck buffet watch party gathered for an afternoon’s entertainment for Bonaholics starved for some live Joe. Unmasked with zero separation, I might add. All the error messages disappeared with the same logon I used yesterday, which makes no sense. We watched 3 whole show replays from Joe’s past instead from youtube on the tv.

To watch again, go through the same process you used to buy your ticket. It will recognize that you already purchased and you will see the option to watch again. I did it this morning and it works fine.

Re: PPV

Great show, even though I couldn’t hook-up to the TV.
No problems for me tech wise.
Like many have said, so weird without an audience!
Love the sound of the new album! wink)

No problems at all.  Thought it was great!

Re: PPV

Not ready to write a review yet, I am still scrambling pieces of myself of the floor after yesterday’ brilliant concert. But want to note one thing: didn’t pay attention yesterday due to too many margaritas and other distractions going on, but tonight rewatched the concert and was absolutely stunned by beautiful orchestral arrangement of One Door during intermission count down... Is that what we missed at Red Rocks this year?.. Makes me want to cry again.
