Highly recommend you catch her live if you possibly can, a great performer and her band is smokin'. Caught her in my neighbourhood back in September (album launch tour) and strongly tempted when she comes through again next March.

This album was recorded "live" in the studio with the band which is also her "road" band (though there are a couple of numbers where the line-up is slightly different - Bennett Holland in place of Bob Fridzema on keys for example). Lead guitar Ash Wilson has a excellent solo album out Broken Machine, and is the brother of Laurence Jones' drummer Phil.. Mat Beable on bass is just about finishing tour with log-time band Nimmo Brothers and Bob Fridzema is one of the go-to keyboard players in Europe, lately with Joanne Shaw Taylor and formerly King King.
