Not sure if you saw it, but Ultimate Classic Rock have compiled their top 25 Southern Rock Albums. Please give me your opinion on this. Here's what they included:

Well it's not a bad list by any means, I grew up with most all of this .............. but why no Tom Petty, 38 Special, Leon Russell, North Mississippi Allstars, Little Feat, and only one by Govt Mule ? and why not the Allman Bros Hittin' the Note ?
maybe 25 is just not enough, I missed the one lone entry by ZZ Top, my bad
and sooner than later you can look for Marcus King to make the list, an extraordinary talent from North Carolina

Not a bad list.I would have to think about anything missing that I would have thought should be in there.
Possible Charlie Daniels The Raging Slab Dynamite Monster  Boogie concert cd
Also as far as a new band Otis is a killer new nand with The Eye  of the Sun being a southern rock killer
