Topic: RAH 21/4/217

Joe at RAH last night (Friday 21 April) was pretty damned good - sound a bit iffy but had a GREAT seat close to the stage with a really good view (until Joe got everyone standing for the last 30 minutes or so and then I couldn't see much at all for the really huge guys standing right in front of me!). Despite patchy sound, all in all a great show .... The last time I was at the Royal Albert Hall I was 15 years old - it was 1966 and my older sister took me to see Bob Dylan. It was his now "infamous" acoustic to electric show and our seats were right up in "the Gods". We saw Dylan - wearing a ghastly brown and black check suit - getting out of his limo at the stage door - no such luck with Joe!  I'd forgotten what a great venue it is - Joe said he hopes to be back there in 2019 (10 years since he first played there) .... In the meantime, roll on the Beacon (NY) in September this year!

Quite a gap between attendances. wink
Thanks for the report. Joe always dresses for his shows better than Dylan, plays better too.
