Rockpalast is and always will be this AMAZING live show, with more jamming "per square inch" than any other video I have ever seen. Anyone who does not possess this 3 piece gem should get it. One of a kind!

ZeyerGTR, whazziz???!!! You don't own "Had To Cry Today?!" yikes Somebody get that man the album A.S.A.P.!!!  I think we met in Florida a couple years ago...If I knew you were lacking that album I would have hooked you up. smile  It's certainly a must have.

Lol, I missed the 50% off sale from the JB store the other month, but I'll pick it up one of these days.  So much music, so little time.

Rockpalast......The River.

Re: How about this ? Joe's top 12 !!

Yes, please complete your library ! Had To Cry Today is one of Joe's "Rock iest" outings ! The River is like Joe's version of LZ When the Levy Breaks...Awesome...and, of course title cut also pummels us !! very good !

Re: How about this ? Joe's top 12 !!

Since I can't separate 12 favorites, I'm going to bring up what I feel may be 12 of Joe's most overlooked tunes...  As others have listed their favorites, they are also mine.  These may or may not be others' least favorites, but, as I said everything Joe puts his hands and heart to turns out to be my favorite of his.  I think those who have actually determined a favorite from each studio album perhaps ought to give these another listen (or maybe first), with de-escalated prejudice or presumption, or, better yet, without prejudice-just to see what comes over you, or to see if anything "fresh" comes out of your listen.
Anyway, here goes... smile

1) A New Day Yesterday- "Nuthin' I Wouldn't Do (For A Woman Like You)"
2) So, It's Like That- "Unbroken"
3) Blues Deluxe- "Long Distance Blues"
4) Had to Cry Today- "Revenge Of The 10 Gallon Hat"
5) You and Me- "I Don't Believe"
6) Sloe Gin- "India"
7) The Ballad of John Henry- "Feelin' Good"
8) Black Rock- "Wandering Earth"
9) Dust Bowl- "The Last Matador Of Bayonne"
10) Driving Towards The Daylight- "Lonely Town Lonely Street"
11) Different Shades of Blue- "So, What Would I Do?"
12) Blues of Desperation- "What I've Known For A Long Time"

This has previously been covered under the HIDDEN GEMS topic but there have been a few more albums released since, so an update of Hidden Gems is long overdue.

"So, What Would I Do?" and "What I've Known For A Long Time"  - like them so much! They are very often played  in my shuffle.

And this is my favorite video of
"So, What Would I Do?"  (love the saxophone solo on it also)

Perhaps...I was just hoping to keep the conversation going, plus I was curious to see if anyone perhaps would chime in and say about one of them "Actually, ______ (song) is my favorite from _____ (album)!

The Shredster mentioned "The River" from the  Rockpalast video- now favorite from (whoa, how many?!) video releases is a great possibility for a new topic. wink
