Topic: Finally going to see Joe!!

Well it's been 5 years since I discovered Joe...can't believe it's been that long, but also seems like longer...can't remember not knowing who he was...and finally I am going to get to go see Joe having just booked my ticket for his UK show in Sheffield in April!!

Cannot wait.

Anyone else from the forum going?

How much do they normally charge for merchandise at the shows? Particularly t-shirts??

Re: Finally going to see Joe!!

Since you've had no replies yet, let me at least congratulate you.  I know you will thoroughly enjoy yourself!

I do not know how merchandise pricing will play out on the next UK tour swing, but t-shirts are pretty much standard fare pricing as they have always been, I would rough estimate the equivalent of $30USD at maximum.  If your country has some new fees established, who knows?!

And as far as any forum member attending, sometimes people may make plans approaching last minute, whether seeking tickets or liquidating tickets due to extenuating circumstances (life), or even simple announcements of attendance and/or questions, such as yours, regarding meet-ups.

Don't hesitate to re-post this or a similar note in the concert reviews section, which tends to double as a place to initiate pre-show meet ups, whether with or without suggestions, as well as the (highly valued by myself, especially glowing, but even negative ones) post performance experience details.  The closer the date approaches things may coalesce into a real party on the horizon! cool

Re: Finally going to see Joe!!

Shirts were in the £25 region when I last saw Joe in Preston. I hope to get to either Sheffield (my home town) or Blackpool. Just depends how life unfolds at present. I would prefer Blackpool as it's the old Opera House, and Sheffield Arena is just that a new modern huge arena. Wish Joe could manage two nights at Sheffield City Hall instead. Now there is a great hall. I saw most of the 60's and 70's greats there, Hendrix, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple etc, etc. Ah the joys of nostalgia. If I get to Sheffield I'll drop you a line. big_smile

Come on the Blades (sorry Idolbone just had to borrow your line)

Re: Finally going to see Joe!!

Last time I was at a concert, the CD and DVD were all £10 can't recall the t-shirt price but as Sheffield is the last of the UK dates, if you post again once the tour has started you should get more information.
Hope you enjoy the show.
