Topic: Demo - Caline Orange Burst (BB Preamp Clone)

Hey folks,

I wanted to give the extremely cheap Caline Orange Burst CP-18 a chance, so I ordered it for under 30€.
My expectations were low, but the pedal is a beautiful product. It can really compete with the original Xotic BB Preamp, a pedal I highly love.

The Caline is well built, reacts perfectly with the volume of the guitar, it features a true bypass and has lots of volume to offer.
Stacks also perfectly with other pedals - don't have to tell you that it sounds gorgeous with my Vemuram Jan Ray.

I Have to say I really loved the sound of that pedal with single coils. The over all sound has all kinds of stray harmonics bouncing around and it doesn't have that tight mid thing going on that so many pedals have. Actually sounds a bit like the old Mads Professor pedals. Very nice I'll have to look into it. Thanks for the review. Great playing. cool
