Topic: count our "JOE" blessings

just went to a kenny wayne shepherd concert! last week! freaking great!! still not in joe's class!"different planet"!!!! well, i paid top dollar for a meet and greet before the concert! there was about 5 people i know along with me waiting to meet him , and had things to autograph! "no Kenny" "no merchandise" for sale."zippo-none" and the first concert i have been too with no encore!!  no matter how much we yelled or screamed!"nothing" he just packed up and left! i have counted my blessings every time i go see Joe!!!  stays and signs all the items you have, and actually looks you in the eye and has conversations with you!! next time i see Joe which will be san francisco and modesto! i will tell him

So Loyd, if I understand you correctly you did not get the "meet & greet" you paid for??????
If so, that is not cool.  And people wonder why we're "FAN-atical" about Joe????  I hope I misunderstood you and that you did get what you paid for.    Patty

I for one am so grateful Joe decided not to go the whole rock star trip. That's what I love about him (besides the BEST GUITAR PLAYER ON THE PLANET thing) is that he knows how important it is to be available to the fans who support him. Without fail he comes out, signs whatever is given to him to sign and answers questions and conversationS. It's amazing and it's what keeps me going to every show I can get to.

you did not misunderstand!! i called my ticket company, they stated they only sell the tickets! my small city put on a 3 day music festival! they are the ones that are responsible for the problem! just dissapointed to see a great gutarist in concert and get treated in this way! they want triple the price for the same packaged for pat benatar! "aint happening baby!!"  thanks for listening my friends!!

I am so sorry you experienced that!!!
I have not been to a concert in many years, until talked into going to see Joe. 
He is amazing, never expected to meet him, or get my CD's signed by him.   How kind to take that time to interact with all of us.  I can not imagine the sacrifice of that kind of lifestyle!  no permance, or solid foundation.  constant motion. 
He gives so much of himself to us
