Topic: Joe, Arthur's Music Store did it again...thanks
A few weeks back I purchased a very nice late 80s Ibanez from Arthur's Music Store. I heard about this store through an interview Joe gave while on the blues cruise ship. A couple of days ago I contacted them again to see what was "new". Basically, to find out if any cool used guitars had come in the store. They had a '98 Gibson Les Paul Joe Perry signature in like new condition, with the OHSC. The best part was that they sold it to me for only $1350. It is almost impossible finding guitars of that quality, in such good condition, anywhere near that price.
The real cherry on top is the customer service offered by the staff. Amy, who helped me out, spent at least an hour on the phone with me discussing not only the Les Paul but also an acoustic I was considering buying. She was kind enough to send me pictures, explain in detail the condition of the instruments in which I showed interest, and throughout the entire time not once did she make me feel as though I was wasting her time. I must have apologized 10 times for taking up so much of her time but with each apology she assured me I was not being a bother nor a waste of her time.
To come across any store that is willing to offer top notch service plus great prices is very much a rarity. One thing is for sure, the Joe Perry Les Paul I purchased will NOT be the last instrument I buy from Arthur's Music Store. Anyone who is even somewhat interested in buying a guitar or amp should take the time to call the store. Amy was a joy to work with so I know she will treat you right. All I ask is one favor, let her know you heard about Arthur's Music here on the Bonamassa forum. Trust me, I get no special discounts or anything like that for letting you know about the store. It is just pretty awesome if they could get some "possible" business from more of us Bonamassa fans. Remember, it was Joe who first mentioned the store's name. In fact, Amy said Joe had called them within the past couple of weeks looking to buy something from them...that should be enough of an endorsement for the store. If it were up to me I would leave their phone number on this thread but I am afraid someone might feel my post only serves as an advertisement for the store. In reality, it is aimed more at helping my Bonamassa forum friends find a store that will work with you no matter what budget you have.
Good luck to anyone who gives them a call. I am confident they will have something that will make you happy. They've yet to disappoint me. I'm sure they will not disappoint you.
