Hi,
just got back from the Orangerie Gig in Kassel.
All I can say is: it was KILLER.
the Venue was inside the Orangerie which is a Restaurant/Hotel inside a Baroque City Castle of Kassel.
With nice gardens in very beautiful surroundings. Loved it.
Just arrived there at dusk and wandered around a bit when I saw the bands buses and met 3 Kasseler Fans there.
Just 2 minutes later Joe and Clay walked along. Dressing for Show Time.
After that Joe took a quick picture and he signed my RCFP Shirt. Yiipppieh.
I told him that Powertrio tonight would be awesome. He responded he wish he could play it and that it will be very loud.
Cu Joe and I quickly got into the venue where I saw Lee,Paulie and Anton. They also wandered around.
This Restaurant/Lounge/bar is very nice from the inside. The venue was just next to it.
A little smaller than Mr Kyps I would say. Maybe 300 when it is completely full.
First it was planned to fill it with 150 stools. When Joe heard that he directly said: Stools? no, get them outta here.
Tonight we will rock and burn that house down. :-) I don't wanna see any stools. That is the reason I could attend this gig.
Setlist was.

Killer Gig, F*** loud, Super Crowd. Joe always gives 110%, yesterday 200%. He was absolutely on Fire and you could see that he has so much fun to do those small gigs and play as loud as he can. It was a pleasure to witness that. He played like hell. Unbelievable.
Distance front row to JOE : maybe 1.5 foot
Highlights:
Angel of Mercy - the Solo at the beginning was so cool, it just did not end. RIP Amos. Joe killed it yesterday. Outstanding
And of course the 2 encores. Spanish Boots blew me away.
Concert will be broadcasted April 11th. 75 mns duration approx. I will record it and share of course.
Just have to come down from yesterday. Ears still ringing. Just had no sleep.
Joe, thanks for this. You are the greatest. Please Do it again...
Cheers
Dirk
