Well it looks like I will be going too!   Two tickets,  now to find a butt to fill the other seat.  The search is on to find a Bonafan.  One who can get themselves to Colorado.

Now to decide on that used VOX ac 30 and the used Firebird I have been looking at.  Joe, look what you are doing to me!

I'm your butt to fill the other seat!
1. Bonafan for many years
2. Zeppelin freak
3. Can get to Colorado; I spend most of my vacation time there.

That is cool DB!  I will put you on my short list.  I am hoping to find someone from here (home) to travel with as well though.  Just got the tickets while travelling in New Hampshire, got home last night, now to let the word out locally.  I need to be fairly quick to decide so proper plans can be made.  Don't hesitate to bug me to be sure I don't forget, but I gotta check with my friends first.

And... they are the Colorado Public Television tickets, not the package Joe is offering for 2 large!  The whole trip, flights, tickets and accommodations will cost me less than that.  That reception will be hard to miss though.

Keep watching here.  I have two tickets, I'm just waiting for a close friend's decision to go with me (work and $).  I should know very soon.  There is one other member here that has expressed interest in it as well but I can let you know if you like.

Re: British Blues Explosion Tribute @ Red Rocks 7/19

Got our tickets, they are perfect! Middle of Row 19, three seats.  Now to countdown the days to the show.

Re: British Blues Explosion Tribute @ Red Rocks 7/19

Hmm can anyone tell I can't wait for this show?  But I digress.  Just thought someone might want to get in on this deal.  AXS, the official ticket seller for Red Rocks has a new option on the ticket site for Joe's show: Premium tickets for $400 each.  I'm speculating that not all the " high rollers" tickets have sold, so if anyone is interested in the tickets without the added perks, this might be for you.  I did a trial ticket selection, without going through with the actual sale, and the tickets showed row 6.  I have no ulterior motives posting this, just happened to see it because I went to the site to see if the show was sold out yet.  That premium selection wasn't there when I purchased my tickets.

Re: British Blues Explosion Tribute @ Red Rocks 7/19

The premium package being sold from Joes site were limited to 100 packages and were guaranteed to be first 4 rows, so row 6 seats wouldn't have been leftovers from the package deal. Those are great seats though!

Good to know about the relationship between the premium package and the AXS premium seats.  I agree, row 6 tickets are great, and I'm sure they will be snapped up quickly.  I admit to being a bit obsessed about this show, it's going to be epic and I am completely happy with my 19th row hundred dollar apiece tickets.
I've never spent any time on a ticketing site after buying my tickets before, but I deplore how transparency in ticket purchasing has become a thing of the past. And don't even get me started on the ticket reseller trap. Guess stalking the official ticketing site gives me something to do while listening to Joe and waiting for July 19th, right?

Re: British Blues Explosion Tribute @ Red Rocks 7/19

So, no luck on getting one of my local friends to join me for this event.  Time to put a call out to my Bona buddies to fill the extra seat I have.  diamondback expressed an interest, PM sent.

PBS seats, so...somewhere between the front and the back!

Re: British Blues Explosion Tribute @ Red Rocks 7/19

So I sent diamondback a PM regarding my extra ticket, no response yet.  He could be away or some other thing.  But I do want the ticket to be used.

So, it is a PBS seat, who knows where, but it is a confirmed seat.  Any interest?

The PBS tickets arrived at my house today.  Row 7, and right in front of the big screen (for those that have been to Red Rocks).  PBS gave me row 16 and almost the exact same seat #'s for the 3 Kings.  Not front row, but not too shabby.

Haven't received my PBS tickets yet.

A reminder I have two, one is still available.  Would really love for it to be used.  Any takers?

Re: British Blues Explosion Tribute @ Red Rocks 7/19

Hey everyone.

Couple quick questions about this show if anyone might know:

1)  Does anyone know if Joanne Shaw Taylor is opening the Red Rocks show too?

2)  For anyone who has already caught the show overseas....is there a tour specific t-shirt this time?

Thanks very much.  Can't wait for this show in a couple weeks!!

Re: British Blues Explosion Tribute @ Red Rocks 7/19

Konkan - Joanne Shaw Taylor  tour dates do not show anything in Red Rocks - she's in Europe .. Joe rarely has an opening act.. I wouldn't expect one either.

Mini - if I hadn't just spent 2 weeks in Nashville/Memphis I might have take you up on your ticket. that trip cost me a bit.. sad

(If only I had 1% of Joe's guitar talent)

I feel your pain.  I lack your restraint!  :0

Saturday before the show. Counting down the hours!  I am so happy Joe is playing music from three of my heroes.

Re: British Blues Explosion Tribute @ Red Rocks 7/19

I'll be going to Pikes Peak on Monday if anyone is interested!

Tuesday will be spent in town, there must be some good guitar shops around.
