On my long drive to Motown today one of the CDs I played was Buddy Guy's "Damn Right I've Got The Blues". Killer! I played both Buddy's and Joe's versions of "Black Night" and Buddy's SRV tribute "Remembering Stevie" (an instrumental version of "The Sky Is Crying") is almost enough to choke you up. Listening to Buddy, you can tell that he really influenced SRV (and maybe vice-versa).
Major Tom to ground control...
