Elles Bailey - Live At Lttle Rabbit Barn E.P.

This is going to be a hard to find little gem. promoted as four weary touring musicians finding a little “oasis” on the Essex/Sussex border and being rejuvenated by the hospitality, home-made curry and “cuddles with a bunny”, gave a storming performance.

This is Elles’ way of paying back for a great gig; 6 striped back live songs from her show at Little Rabbit Barn, Ardleigh done as a fund-raiser for the venue, and from the sounds of it, Elles and the band were on top form. If you check round, you can buy 3, 4 or 6 track downloads or for slightly more, and not a king’s ransom, if you’re quick enough, a limited edition, physical CD.

Well, well worth it, and good one Elles, for putting something back to give grass roots venues a shot in the arm.

Eric Church & Susan Tedeschi duet "Mixed Drinks and Feelings"

I used to listen to the song on repeat back when I was going through my Country binge.  I've kind of moved on these days but my first wife's memory is never far.  I love Susan's work but feel this is her strongest performance.  Very emotional song to say the least.

One mainly for Brother Curby; caught these guys currently opening for Ian Siegal; The Dawn Brothers from Rotterdam. To me very similar to our Rainbreakers except there's more of an American flavour to their 60's retro nod (Buffalo Springfield to CCR).
