really beautiful tribute by Robben and glad he wrote it while BB was living. Peace out you all, 7 years is enough and I don't have the time or energy to do it any longer. Thanks Joe for having me and being the class act you are.....see you all on the flip side, if there is one. Tres

Goin' Down Slow. BB's is my favorite version of the song, and one of my favorite recordings of his... and there's very little guitar!

Not nearly enough!
What's up Tres? Time? Energy? Doesn't take much of that to type.
Jump With B.B.
Red Sector A - Rush
Not particularly a song, but BB King's Live At The Regal album is on heavy rotation currently...
The Boom Band.
Finally got hold of a copy; was a bit wary at first, projects like this don't often live up to the sum of their parts. My God, this does, and then some.
Bound to be the highlight of this year's Maryport in July.

They are on my concert wish list … hope that I don't have to wait too long.

Big Bad Machine - Mason Rack Band
Bloody ‘ell…. this is good stuff. Sorry Blues Sissi, looks like the secret is out. This has that kind of “rawness” you come to expect with some of the best Aussie bands down the years, but just when you think it’s going to get stuck in a rut, there’s a quick change to something almost delicate to break things up. Love the driving slide work, super backline and Jimmy Barnes type vocals and a vibe like these guys love what they’re doing. Gem of an album.
Booker T & The MG's - Green Onions
Apache/Sleepwalk....Jeff Beck

Reflections (title track) - The Mentulls
Advance copy of their new album. Contender for one of the albums of the year. Reminds me so much of Wishbone Ash, Martin Turner era.

Knowing the lads, they'll take that very much as a complement. Looking forward to getting hold of a copy myself, soon.
