Finally got hold of a copy; was a bit wary at first, projects like this don't often live up to the sum of their parts. My God, this does, and then some.

Bound to be the highlight of this year's Maryport in July.

When life gives you lemons; don't make lemonade.

Big Bad Machine - Mason Rack Band

Bloody ‘ell…. this is good stuff. Sorry Blues Sissi, looks like the secret is out. This has that kind of “rawness” you come to expect with some of the best Aussie bands down the years, but just when you think it’s going to get stuck in a rut, there’s a quick change to something almost delicate to break things up. Love the driving slide work, super backline and Jimmy Barnes type vocals and a vibe like these guys love what they’re doing. Gem of an album.

Advance copy of their new album. Contender for one of the albums of the year. Reminds me so much of Wishbone Ash, Martin Turner era.
