Heard so many good reports from Robin Trower’s recent swing-by on tour, decided it was about time I had another go checking his back-catalogue. I first dipped in back in the early 1980s, with the BLT album, which really didn’t grab me, so that was about as far as I went.

However, I took a plunge and bought a box set of the first 5 albums, started with Twice Removed From Yesterday, Bridge of Sighs and For Earth Below and was just blown away. Tonight, I’ve got Live! and Long Misty Days to look forward to - then I can go back round again….

King King - Reaching For The Light.

Latest one from Alan, Lindsay, Wayne & Bob and it doesn't disappoint in the quality but at 45 minutes it leaves you wanting more. I don't think Alan's voice has ever sounded better and his guitar is blistering.
