Just back from an excursion to Middlesbrough dropping students off. On the return trip I slipped Joel Fisk & The Breakdown album The Well into the player and turned the volume UP.

Different in style to Joel's usual jobs with Wolfpack and LaVendore Rogue, but there are echoes there obviously (especially with Rob & Stephen on backline), and while Joel may not have the growl of Jojo, he still has a decent set of pipes. There's some killer slide guitar on there too, not to mention a ballsy cover of an Ian Siegal number - oh, yes, Ian S and Jon Amor also guest on a couple of tracks. Well worth a listen.
