Topic: Pawn shop score! [Bass content]

Eh, nothing like Joe's pawn shop scores, because we operate with a totally different budget big_smile, but today my sons and I visited a local pawn shop to check for second hand laptop computers, but as I walked in, I noticed this lime green Precision bass in the corner and pounced on it.

The guy said he had only put it out a couple of hours ago.  It is a Made in Mexico version, and the price on it was AUD$390 with gig bag, which is around USD$300 I think at current rates, so I grabbed it.  The chap said the signatures on it were from the guys from Blink 182.  I like the band, but not a massive fan, so at this stage unsure whether I will keep the signatures on there or clean them off.

Might also consider putting in a tone pot, but the bass sounds good as it is... cool

Nice!  I have been on the hunt for a bass.  That one would have gone home with me too!!

Nice score! Personally, I wouldn't remove the signatures, that alone makes your bass unique to everything out there, whether you're a fan of the band or not. Just my 2 cents smile
