Topic: Buddy Guy

Went to see Buddy Guy last night in Warren, Ohio.

Wow!    What a great experience, nose to nose with Buddy and he worked his way playing and walking through the crowd.....He was staring at me and smiling and I was playing some air guitar and head bobbing with Buddy!

I really like him so much, he plays from the soul and has so much fun.

I can cross this off my bucket list smile

Re: Buddy Guy

I've been told by everyone that he walks through the crowd, when I saw him last spring he didn't.. and he didn't even do an encore.
only thing I could think of is, he didn't feel well.
but he played decent enough.

glad you liked your show

I've seen him do that and also remain on the stage. I guess it depends on his mood and the venue. Still a great talent and worth the effort to see a living legend.

Re: Buddy Guy

I saw him two years ago this month at The Brady Theatre in Tulsa.   He not only walked through the crowd, he went to the back of the room,  went into the lobby then went upstairs to the balcony.

He then stands on the front row , center section in the balcony and performs ,   its like he turned the room all the way around ...haha   ,  it was great.

I was soooo glad I got to see him, and in a great venue.
