Topic: Joe B's Dumble

Greetings Everyone.

I was a long-time lurker and decided to plunge into the forum membership.  I apologize in advance if this has already been answered.

I was listening to a RCFP clip on youtube and Joe was using a dumble amp and a Les Paul.  The sound was unreal.  Does anyone have any information on this dumble, aka, HRM, non-HRM, bluesmaster?

That clip that I saw has me convinced that Joe B is THE guitarist now!

Welcome! I was there and that probably was my clip you saw. It was one of his ODS Dumbles which he used in stereo with a custom Jim Kelly amp for that sound. He's rarely played the same rig twice at that place. His chance to play with the toys that don't go on tour. He has a very minimal pedal setup there as well. TS, delay and wah are the usual suspects, though he has used a ring modulator for some crazy effects lately.

You cant compare Jimmy Page with God. I mean he's cool and all, but he's no Jimmy Page!!

I am pretty sure this clip is from that night. You can't see the amps because they are behind on the wall.

That Dumble was a skyliner circuit circa 1992. I do not own it anymore.  I'm down to one Dumble and 5 high power twins.  If that's any indication.
