Topic: Vinyl Download Cards.

Hey guys. I've got a couple of questions about the vinyl release. I just received my copy of TDF Royal Albert hall from Amazon (Amazon had new copies for 20 dollars when I paid now they are down to 18 and change if anybody needs a copy.)

The vinyl says there is a download card inside but the only loose thing I got in the package was a card showing other bonamassa releases. Maybe I'm missing something but can anybody tell me if its hidden or am I looking in the wrong spots.

Also does anybody know if the download is a vinyl ripped download or is it just the regular digital release. I already have a copy on cd so there would be no point in redownloading if it's just a normal download.

Re: Vinyl Download Cards.

Thanks Jane, I know some bands, like the recent Rush Vinyl reissues are providing download codes of the vinyl rip. Just wanted to make sure before I gave up looking for the code.

Re: Vinyl Download Cards.

It would be kind of hard to have an analog signal as a digital download

But in reality, , even the vinyl isn't analog today.
since Joe uses all vintage equipment we know most part he is, but we can bet the bank that Kevin is doing his mix on a digital board, and being saved digitally.
Before mixed down and mastering.
Unlike vinyl I have from the 70's which are AAA (analog, analog, analog mix)

So even the best vinyl today would be a ADA mix.

Hi I got the answer about the type of download, it is the digital download from the CD version

if you or anyone else interested i can try to follow up to see how to acquire it or you can try the customer service email link at the Joe store

Thanks Jane, you're awesome. Since I have already ripped the audio from my cd , I don't need the code from the vinyl since it's just the digital rip. Thanks for following up though.

Re: Vinyl Download Cards.

Hey guys, I changed the title instead of starting another thread.

I just got my Radio City Vinyl today and could not find a card in this as well. i had gotten the two Tour De Force Albums from Amazon and the Radio City from a local shop. Can anybody else that got the vinyl say whether they had a download card. I have yet to get a card when its stated on the package I would get one. I checked top to bottom and in every nook and cranny. In this case, I already had purchased the BluRay/Cd pack so i don't need it but I don't want this to be an issue for anyone else.
