Topic: Scarborough "Top Secret" Blues Festival

Don’t tell anyone, ‘cos its a secret; but the line up (2016) so far includes:-

Aynsley Lister; Marcus Malone; Connie Lush; Grainne Duffy; Willie & the Bandits; 24 Pesos; Matt Woosey; Tom Attah;
Guy Tortora & Ben Tyzack; The Revolutionaires Big Band; Sam Kelly’s Station House; Joel Fisk & Jon Amor; Red Butler; Adams & Greaves; Till bennewitz; Karl Moon & Jen Low; Marcus Bonfanti; Tim Aves & Wolfpack; Benjamin Bassford; Chris Jame & Martin Fletcher.

As well as “ring master” Aynsley Lister…. (otherwise "Artist in Residence" which means jamming and drinking lots of beer with other artists....)

What I can’t tell you is that its all at the Spa Ocean Room, between the 11th & 13th March 2016.

Just had a word with Thor, Freyr and Bragi; they’ve promised some good weather for the week-end over the Yorkshire coast, so have a great week-end all who’re heading Scarborough way on Friday for the Blues fest. Remember though, it's a secret......

Tickets due out any day so check with Scarborough Top Secret website or Facebook, but don't hang around as the capacity is only around 400.

I wouldn't make any predictions on the weather just yet, though they've enjoyed a recent run of good weather last couple of years; however a few years ago an especially high tide and bit of a breeze did give some cars parked outside the venue an unexpected wash...... If Tomasz Schafernaker does the weather forecast for that week-end people will be building Arks out of lollypop sticks, 20 Blues fans huddled under one pac-a-mac......
