Many people on this forum would really love Popa! He played at Diamond State Blues last year. As I said then, I have concerns for his health due to his weight! So go see him if you get a chance, soon.....Cathy

I love the one called "The Good, The Bad and The Cubby" - and it´s always worth the adventure of going to one of his concerts: he screams at the audience, says the f*** word all the time and attacks his Bandmates with towels if they play his song the wrong way wink  - but he is such a  nice guy if you meet him!
I also think that you could like his music if you like Joe. I didn´t buy the new album yet - is it good?!

I cant believe I missed him in Memphis, next year I'm staying at a hotel close to the river, that way when someone is tired and wants to sleep in they can catch up with me. Coffee, Redbull, whatever it takes, dont be whining to me, the music aint goin to wait for you.

Michael, goin to my fav. music store down the street taday, gonna look up P. Chubby, oh by the way, I listened to some A. Cummings Cathy sent me yesterday, that cat is "SMOKIN !!!". Definetly got to see him.

Gonna see this guy tomorrow at a 3 days festival. That's called" Big Rivers festival". A mix of Blues, rock&roll, rockabilly. It's a free festival, with lot's of bands all spread around in the centre of a town near Rotterdam. So lot's of stages to watch these guys play.My boyfriend likes him very much. I myself have never seen him before, so tomorrow after my day working, we're going to this festival.And see popa play.

Never heard of the guy. Yes, it is a shame.. Just saw the videos on youtube. Must be a real sensation to see him perform. I am going to log out now and visit his website .

Got back from the fest. It was raining in the beginning. But when Popa began, so did the sun.
He really plays great. The was 1,5 hour or so.Played some of his own songs en a couple of Hendrix'. Like: He Joe and Little Wing. Great time watching and listen to him play. But sure this guy is hughe.
