Great to see Walter back on stage. Thanks for putting this up. Just tracked it down on youtube and came here to post it, and saw you already did. Going to see him August 8th at the Wheeling Heritage Festival. Can't wait.
Such an emotional rebirth on stage, had to see it twice. So happy and thankful to see Walter in great health!
I wish him endless fun on his "I´m Back" Tour. God bless...
Here`s now a video I just found on his homepage:
Going to see him Friday night in Norfolk Ct. Got goosebumps watching his recent videos. Nice to see "I'm Back" on his website.
Comeback of the year for sure!

We saw Walter this weekend at the Riverfront Blues Festival in Wilmington, Delaware. It really is mind blowing to think that just over a year ago he was on death's door and now here he is singing and playing like there's no tomorrow. It is truly miraculous. He spoke some about organ donation, urging people to become one and is just so thankful to have his life back so that he can be there as a husband and father to his family. He put on a great show, so full of energy. I just wish the lighting had been better. Whoever was running it didn't know what they were doing and at times would plunge the stage into utter darkness right in the middle of a solo or constantly switch from red, to blue, to yellow. Drove me up a wall and obviously made the videos appear a bit odd.

Thanks for the videos. Going to see Walter this Saturday, August 8th, at the Wheeling Heritage Blues Festival. Been looking forward to it for a long time.
No Rick Knapp on Bass - Wots happened?
Need to investigate!!
Well, he's gone to play with Jimmy Thackery. He got the gig when Walter was ill.
Nice article. SOOOO happy for Walter!!
Thumbs Up to Walter's wife Marie, for being his medical advocate. Everybody needs one when you are as sick as Walter was or sadly you may not make it.
Lots of great angles to this story including the LOVE from Walter's powerful fanbase.
P.S. RoadcaseBoy, did you hear Joe Walsh is coming to the the new venue in Philly's Northern Liberties called the Fillmore? You going?

I get the printed AC Press ... the paper had a nice large "in concert" shot of Walter filling the top of the fold (of the paper). He looks great. Happy for him as well.
Funny you mention the Walsh Filmore show ... I just heard an ad for it two nights ago on the radio (during my one minute ride home from work.) I didn't know the new venue opened yet (or was scheduling shows.)
Trying to talk my Joe B fan nephew (who lives in Philly to go.) I looked up the venue yesterday for Walsh tks info ... and see Gary Clark Jr. is playing there as well on Nov 1. (Still deciding on the Walsh show ... nephew is on the fence ... I'll push him on it as we dodge through the streets of Camden this Friday night. )
Looks like the Filmore is a GA standing venue ... like the new'ish Union Transfer up on Spring Garden (haven't been there) ... or the good ol' Electric Factory
(Apologies for the off-topic.)

Congrats, wish him luck. Wonna see him on his "I'm Back Tour". God bless...
How 'bout that performance in Wheeling, Bill!?!! We were there, too -- in fact, Walter was the main 'draw' that brought us to that festival. Very nice addition to have Montoya invited up on stage to jam with Walter... and that heartfelt bond between them! Jon is quite good, himself; and he obviously works very hard as a roadie, too!

Yet again brilliant Natasha and a great way to start off my second day back at work. Walter has come on in leaps and bounds. Great to see.
I saw Walter last night in Sacramento....he told me it was the first time he ever played in an Automobile Museum (not a joke....a real auto museum).....he was incredible, and I had been fearful that I would never see him play....he is a very down to earth, nice man who is EXTREMELY grateful for the second chance he has gotten to enlighten the world about the blues...one of the best shows you can ever go to is a Walter Trout concert.....
