Topic: NPD Jetter Gold 45/100

I got a new Jetter Gold 45/100 a couple weeks ago. Tonight was the first chance I had to play it at band volume. Excellent vintage Marshall voiced pedal for a Fender amp.

Re: NPD Jetter Gold 45/100

those do sound pretty great. if i wasn't in love with my Barber DDC, i would invest in the 45/100. Sadly for Jetter, I think that their Traindrive pedal sounds nothing like a Trainwreck amp, but the rest of his stuff, including the dumblee GS124 is pretty killer.

Re: NPD Jetter Gold 45/100

The Lance Keltner video is what sold me on this pedal.  He is playing through a small Carr amplifier and it made that amp sound huge.  It sounds great through my Super Reverb.  I was interested in the Jetter GS124 too(great Greg Koch video on that one) but went for the 45/100 first.  The 45/100 has a very amp like response.  It sustains well without getting too gainy but is has plenty of gain if you need it.

I have always wanted to try a Barber DD.  They are priced right and get great reviews.

Yeah the Lance video on the 45/100 is pretty killer. I nearly pulled the trigger on that pedal after watching. May still some day. If you ever go with Barber, get the Direct Drive Compact. It combines all of the variations of the DD over the years, and it is the size of a regular pedal.

I bet the 45/100 sounds great through the SR you have.

Re: NPD Jetter Gold 45/100

This Gold 45/100 sounds best when the amp is loud too. The volume on the pedal needs to be up around one o'clock also.  AB'd it with my friend's hand wired Marshall Jtm 45 clone last week. It was close enough for me.

Re: NPD Jetter Gold 45/100

Years ago, I had a Jetter blue as well and was impressed at the Clapton type sounds I could get. But I found that the Catalinbread dirty little secret can get some great vintage to modern Marshall sounds without having to crank the amp too loud.
