Topic: Way Huge Pork Loin vs JB Signature FET

Hey All,
So, i've just received my JB Signature Fuzz Face Mini.  Couldn't find a large copper one here in the UK and don't have the money to grab one from the states just yet.

My query is more about the Way Huge Pork Loin that Jo uses.  Does anyone know if he ever use this switched on at the same time as having his JB FET driver?

I maybe missing the point here but don't these two do simillar jobs but in different way and therefore, he'd not use them together?
Regards,
Jonathan.

Re: Way Huge Pork Loin vs JB Signature FET

These pedals aren't that similar. I've owned both.  The PL is more of a tubescreamer- altho a very versatile one that includes a clean blend (altho even the clean blend is a little dirty- it's a very cool feature.) Thick, compressed, and smooth.  Tight low end.

The FET is a borderline fuzz.... almost like a low-gain fuzz... loose bass, I had a hard time dialing the bass in- it was either too bassy or too thin.  I got a Dover Drive and like it a lot better than the MXR FET.

Never had a PL or Fet Driver, but I have a Dover Drive too. It is a very good pedal and sounds like a really good fuzz with the gain cranked.
