Topic: North Sea Jazz Festval/ Sloe Gin

Last night Joe performed at the NSJF as you already know. Marianne and Annelies were there live.
He played in the biggest hall- line up : Steely Dan, Joe Bonamassa, Larry Carlton/Robben Ford. Yes, Joe is getting bigger and bigger overhere!!

I wasn't there but I watched the compilation from it on NATIONAL DUTCH TV!!!

JOE PLAYED- SLOE GIN - LIVE IN FRONT OF  WHOLE HOLLAND!!!!!!!! It sounded very,very good, good quality too.

I recorded the show in which were Larry Carlton together with Robben Ford, Campbell Brothers and more perform. Tonight on stage Sly Stone,Randy Brecker and more.

I'll send Michael Lynch a copy, if it all works well, and maybe he can put it on You Tube!

My day is great. now Paradiso!

Yeah I saw it too, it was a great performance of the song. Good to see Joe on national tv playing to such a big crowd.
I really love this song, makes me want the new album even more tongue

That was shown live in Holland! Wow, that is cool. Saw Steely Dan in May, going to see Robben Ford and Larry Carlton in Aug., how were they?

Wow! the audio is fantastic, even on these cheap speakers I got. The solo on "sloe gin" is smokin!!! Thanks that was great.

Kudos to the person that recorded that. I thought there was just gonna be one song on there. Hadn't heard that new version of High Water Everywhere until then. I always thought the studio version needed to be fleshed out. That version did it. Sloe Gin reminded me of Zeppelin a little with the keyboards. And someone else is singing backup. The keyboard player?

Yeah on the Sloe Gin video I noticed Rick singing along at some points during the song. The keyboards work pretty well on this song, I wonder how it will sound with Joe's other songs.

Enjoyed the pictures, too!!!  Hmmmm...cufflinks......leads me to believe Joe had a jacket on at some point earlier in the show????   Interview prior to show on TV maybe?  Must have been hot in there.....or Joe got the place "fired up" when he took the stage.  Luv that Joe smile    pattyluvsjoe

hello everybody!

I could not visit the NSJ but my brother was there  and he phoned me while Joe was playing so I could hear a little bit of the band. And, I also saw Joe playing Sloe Gin on TV. What a beautiful, beautiful song!! My husband got tears in his eyes. It went straight to his heart.
Can't wait till Paradiso!!

Howdie André and all other JB fans !!

I was backstage doing my work during NSJF but off course stopped when Joe and Co came in to do their show. I have seen a lot of artists in my life but must say the Joe and his band and crew are really nice guys. very friendly, no arrogance. Really great artists !!! Since I was watching the show from Backstage  and off course forgot to take my camera and so on I wonder if you could give me access to the sound recording you made. !! Especially Bridge to better days ,.....Thanks !!
