Hi,

I want to know if I'am the only one who got problem with the meet & greet. It's look like they lost my purchase. I send a request for a pair of tickets on sept. 23 and I had an answer 6 weeks later, they lost my file!. I send a new message on dec. 23 cos I want to know what happen, if they need information (credit card order), If I'm gonna have good seats after all this time, & if they fix the problem. ¨NO ANSWER!¨.

It's sad to leave a fan without answer.

If I'm not the only one, I would like to know.

Send me your information and I'll pass it on. jamesm7@cox.net

New policies have been in effect for a year or so that give priority to litho buyers. They are now assigned to best available however some shows in some markets have a demand that cannot be met by the artist holds. However they are still allotted best seats available.

Would people who bought the Tour de Force set with the M&G be treated the same as litho buyers?

No Litho buyers would have best available followed by Tour De Force the way I understand it. Again the biggest factor is what market the tickets would be redeemed in. New York City would have more demand than Lubbock Texas so less likely to get up close tickets.

None of my lithos got me any where close to the front. I guess bad luck on my part. Seems like the venue gives them out at random

Ron I don't know when the last one you redeemed was but there has been an effort to make sure Litho buyers get good seats that I became aware of last Spring. Prior to that Litho tickets were lumped in with all guest requests and yes it could of been random luck based on the venue box office. Filling guest list requests is a time consuming task that starts in Joe's office and ends in the box office but tour personnel must ultimately communicate with the box office. How easy that is depends on the venue and the size of the list. The number of holds in the market for guests may be a set number and they all can't be in the first few rows so they are spread throughout the venue. Litho buyers do now have priority seating availability requested. However there is a disclaimer because it is nearly impossible to guarantee Premium seating.

I forgot how much Lithos cost exactly but in my opinion the value far exceeds the cost if you take the value of good seats, meet and greet, and the art itself. If they truly manage to solve the problem of where those seats actually are consistently I would suggest they raise the price accordingly. I guess it's a good thing it isn't my call. wink

Ahhh, Jim, hold on a sec.  First, please understand I know we all enjoy and appreciate all your insights about Joe and his operation.

But regarding the above, I had a hesitation and was a bit rattled with the suggestion that the litho prices be raised to accommodate good seating.  The last litho went for $800!  Holy moses!  (Yes, I know, Peter Maxx collector value and all...) At the former prices of $400 and $600, I absolutely do agree the value is there, assuming good seats.  But for purchasers there is an expectation, and an extremely reasonable one at that, of good seats.  And after all who is it that buys the lithos?  Primarily Joe's most ardent and long-standing fans.  While I can appreciate to some degree the logistical difficulties that must be involved from venue to venue, guess what I'm trying to say is it's hard for us to understand how J&R can't control the situation better.  I'm certain there is much more complexity to the situation than meets the eye, but it's Joe's show and you'd think they would have a more controlling position on seat allocation with the venues.  Not taking this out on you, Jim, just thinking out loud.  Thanks.

Hi Jim
Well so the lithos that I paid big bucks for should have got good tickets but did not. That sucks let's see I bought how many? Good grief I did not get great seat for any of them but yet I paid the litho price? Rethinking this one. If the present state is it is pot luck then the lithos are not worth the current price tag. My two cents
Thanks Ron

That is not what I said. Not looking to create a controversy here but if you want to email me or call I can explain exactly what I meant. I can be much more candid as well. I however think the litho's are worth the price wherever the tickets are but that is just my opinion. jamesm7@cox.net

No need always appreciate your input. But if others got front rows with litho's I am happy for them. Just in my case it did not seem to matter if you purchased a litho or not.
All is good

yes, I purchased the tour de force set and used my tickets and meet & greet package Dec 20th in Ft Myers, Fl. meet & greet was awesome got tickets 2nd row center stage, could not have been any better of a night.

Re: Meet and Great Packages

Like Jim, my litho tickets were mid floor, but not way back. I think row 12-16 area center. which was fine for me since I had heard of far worse.  I gave the meet passes away to  fans that hadn't met Joe, but the splitting is not allowed any more I was told.

I'm surprised to hear that because if that is the case the Tour De Force package was a bargain.

It was/is a bargain.  I used my tickets and M&G package in November in Columbus, OH.  We got great seats.  Second row center behind the couple rows of psuedo orchestra seats they added.  It was a great night and we were very happy.

That's awesome so it seems it is pot luck which seats you get. Some have the luck other do not. How was the show? First time seeing the new line up?

Re: Meet and Great Packages

I could see being a bit miffed if you spent $400-$800 on a Litho and got seats father back father than row 6.

Heck I'm miffed when I use the 'pre-sale code' for a show 7mnths in advance and get seats father back than row 6.

Yup but oh well live and learn. My guess once the allocation is in control of the venue who knows what happens. If is is not then oh well. If I purchase another maybe I will get lucky but considering how many I have I do not think so.
I am sure things are better now so let's call it a day on this theme of this thread. Many thoughts so let's move forward. Hey in 9 days going to see Joe in Boston let's see what seats I get this time cashing in meet and greets and tickets.
Cheers Ron

Hi all I just wanted to post to tell you all that indeed things are better or my luck changed or both. I went to "will call" at the Wang to pick up a set of tickets that I cashed in a litho for and too my amazement they were 3rd row pit seats. Some of the best seats in the Wang center. Needless to say the people I gave them too were in shock. Ok I need another litho.
Cheers all

Guess I missed this, sorry Ron.  It was my first time and the show was awesome .  I dragged my wife along and Lenny, Joe and company made a new fan.  And yes I put the names in the order she would have.  She loved how much fun Lenny seemed to be having.  Next time I won't have to drag her.
