Topic: Sweet Home Chicago

I believe Joe has performed this - I'm guessing at Chicago shows.
Is there a recording of it somewhere?

I'm learning the Clapton version, but I like to see how others interpret it.

When i hear Joe's name and Chicago in the same sentence it reminds me of the track he contributed to on the A T-rex named Sue children's album

How appropriate!
I now have an earworm "There's a T-Rex in Chicago and she's got the Chicago blues" :-)

Re: Sweet Home Chicago

The only time I can recall that Joe played - or in this case was part of a group playing - "Sweet Home Chicago", was at the 2010 Crossroads Guitar festival in Chicago. Last song of the day thus all the artists on stage. This is probably very similar to the version that you're learning.

Thanks for that - essentially the Clapton version.
